Plant & Food Research is one of seven crown research institutes set up 25 years ago. Be Confident’s work experience curation guided the thinking in new technology deployment nationally and in workplaces at the FinFish facility in Nelson, Motueka and the $49m refurbishment of the Mt Albert campus , where just under 300 staff are based (nearly two-thirds of them scientists), at the headquarters and the biggest unit. PFR employs more than 900 people nationally.

Be Confident’s Teaming by Design programmes deliver noticeable shifts in mindsets and enhanced staff engagement. We are known for our ability to provide integrated thinking at an early stage in the programme and then implement those concepts that result in productivity gains, improved engagement levels and property gains in spatial awareness and use that endure. Plant & Food is a great example of these results.
