Executive workshops, observation studies, workplace strategy, implementation oversight, change management standards for new ways of working

AECOM is a global provider of professional services in both technical and management support services to a broad range of markets, including transportation, facilities, environmental, energy, water and government. AECOM delivers solutions that create, enhance and sustain the world's built, natural, and social environments.

After completion of the design phases in August 2011 , Be Confident began work with AECOM to deliver the transitional change management program and new workplace strategies. In October 2012, AECOM successfully relocated 360 staff into their new corporate office space on Mahuhu Crescent in Auckland, New Zealand - a beautifully designed workplace which successfully achieved a Five Green Star Office Design and Built rating by the New Zealand Green Building Council.

Travel Program

During the transitional change management program staff at AECOM House were encouraged to explore sustainable ways of traveling to work through access to Rideshare, the creation of designated parking spaces for motorbikes and bicycles, and the distribution of transport Discovery Passes so staff could experience the ease of getting to work by bus, train and ferry. The green features of full showers, lockers and towel service facilities available in AECOM House assisted with the transition to more active modes of transport.

Knowledge Management

With the move to AECOM House, staff were refocused on energy efficiencies in our day to day operations - looking at innovative, efficient ways of using technology. Most important was the reduced reliance on paper which required a large shift in traditional ways of working. During our clean up in preparation to move, one team alone managed to recycle 106 lineal meters of paper and files.

Here is what our clients had to say about our work.

Change programmes were delivered around the enhanced technology, way finding , events, and knowledge management. Stella worked closely with our teams in Human resources, IT , Facilities management and operations to ensure that the culture came with us on the journey to this collaborative workspace. We are thrilled with the transition that has taken place and the staffs response to the change programmes
